As the Budapest Grand Prix continued to unfold at the László Papp Budapest Sports Arena on Saturday, the IJF Presidential Office was the location for the latest Judo for Schools development as Tajikistan signed an agreement with the sport’s world governing body to introduce the world-renowned programme.

Tajikistan, who have a four-strong team in action at the Grand Prix, signed a one-year agreement to introduce the programme in 10 schools with the IJF providing one tatami area, 50 judogi and funding one judo coach per school.

The contract was signed by IJF President Mr. Marius L. VIZER and Tajikistan Judo Federation President Mr. Nurullo LOIKOV.
